I have said for years that blockchain gaming is going to lead the way to true mass adoption and with more and more games like LiteBringer that take advantage of crypto networks other than Ethereum. For blockchain based gaming to really take off, it needs to make interoperability one of the cornerstones of its model. While we certainly are not at that point just yet, I think as we keep expanding the offerings across multiple blockchains we will reach this goal sooner than most people think.
LiteBringer employs a "Play-To-Earn" model for it's game which I personally think will be the future of game monetization. You can play the game, earn in-game items, then sell those items in the marketplace to others for real Litecoin cryptocurrency. You need "Lites" (small fractions of a Litecoin, similar to a Satoshi for Bitcoin), to play the game and to purchase gear, but you can always cash it out too!
This is a 100% on-chain game, which means all the actions you take in the game are pushed to the Litecoin blockchain! How cool is that?
I jump into LiteBringer and explore exactly how to play this Litecoin based RPG game where you can buy and sell your items in a marketplace in a play to earn style format.
